Buying or selling a home is one of the most difficult and important investment decisions you will ever make. I’m eager to share my knowledge with you so that you can make an informed decision and experience peace of mind.

 

I’ve completed intensive training by Carson Dunlop, a leading engineering firm, and am certified by NEHA and the State of Maine for radon testing. I'm also a member of the New England Home Inspection Society.

Specializing in residential and commercial inspections, I cover the entire state of Maine. I am fully insured.

In addition to residential home inspections, my services include radon (in air or water), mold and asbestos testing, and septic system inspections. I can usually schedule appointments within 24 hours or the following day.

 

I wholeheartedly urge clients to be present at the inspection, which is an invaluable learning experience during which I can answer all their questions and offer preventive and maintenance tips. Being with me during the inspection reinforces the findings in my reports, which are provided after the inspection, are easy to read (broken down by system and area), and placed in a 3-ring binder. Any photographs are e-mailed or mailed the following day.

 

My work does not end with inspection: I am pleased to talk with clients on the telephone for as long as they own their homes.

 

Much of my work is word-of-mouth referral from satisfied customers which is very gratifying to me. Asked how I differ from many inspectors, I answer, in my training, experience, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Plus I inspect your home as though it were my own.
